 The Financial Management Association International (FMA) and the Asian Finance Association (Asian FA) have held numerous joint meetings in recent years throughout the Asia Pacific region. This co-operation between FMA and the Asian FA and its predecessor organisations was motivated by shared goals of mutual cooperation and encouraging financial research and scholarship. Although the two organizations will no longer hold joint meetings as the agreement for joint meetings has expired, both FMA and Asian FA will continue to serve the community of Asian scholars and practitioners and provide opportunities for finance professionals to meet and exchange ideas. Both organizations recognize the value provided by the activities of the other and are mutually supportive of these activities. From time to time, FMA and Asian FA may collaborate to better serve the needs of the finance community. Members of FMA and Asian FA are welcome to send papers to both organisations and attend their annual meetings to advance financial research and practice.
