The Finance Leaders' Conference is the only international conference for undergraduate and MBA students to address their needs and concerns about finance careers. Conference attendees:

Tom Anderson
Chief Compliance Officer Citi
Anderson was appointed June 2022 as Citi's Chief Compliance Officer, responsible for independent compliance risk management across Citi. Tom has over 30 years in banking serving in various business management, compliance and risk management roles. Tom joined Citi from J.P. Morgan Chase, where he served for almost eight years as the Chief Compliance Officer for Consumer and Community Banking. He was an important leader in regulatory remediation related to mortgage and anti‐money laundering, and in securing the regulatory approvals necessary to expand the Chase branch network nationwide.
Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, he was the Global Head of Banking at American Express and served as its primary regulatory liaison during the financial crisis. He led the firmwide transformation of American Express to a bank holding company coming under the regulatory oversight of the Federal Reserve and Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), including leading the firm through the first Federal Reserve Bank inaugural stress test. He directly managed American Express banking legal entities across the globe and served as Chairman of the firm’s lead bank American Express Bank. Tom also was a member of the American Express Strategic Planning Committee and the Enterprise Risk Management Committee.
Mr. Anderson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and earned an MBA from St. John’s University. He has served on the Dean’s Advisory Board at St. John’s, and in 2016, received the St. John’s College of Business Distinguished Alumni Award.
