2022 Asia/Pacific Conference

FMA International is pleased to announce its 12th Asia/Pacific Conference at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. FMA’s Asia/Pacific Conference brings together academicians and practitioners with interests in financial decision-making and provides a forum for presenting new research and discussing current issues in financial management and related topics. 

Presentations of research papers, panel discussions, tutorials, and exhibits will begin Monday morning and end Tuesday afternoon. The Doctoral Student Consortium (by application) will be held on Sunday.  

Please note that all attendees will be required to be fully-vaccinated for COVID-19 and provide proof of vaccination via FMA's vaccine verification platform. For more information, click here.

Featuring Keynote Speaker 

Sumit Agarwal
Low Tuck Kwong Distinguished Professor of Finance at the Business School and a Professor of Economics and Real Estate
National University of Singapore.
Dr. Agarwal has held positions as a Professor of Finance at the Business School, Georgetown University. Before that he was a senior financial economist in the research department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and prior to joining the Chicago Fed, he was a senior vice president and credit risk management executive in the Small Business Risk Solutions Group of Bank of America. Dr. Agarwal's research interests include issues relating to financial institutions, household finance, behavioral finance, real estate markets and sustainability.

 

Doctoral Student Consortium

To apply for the Doctoral Student Consortium, students must complete the online application and submit a 5 - 10 page dissertation proposal (in PDF format). In addition, one recommendation letter should either be uploaded to the application form or sent to FMA prior to the application deadline.
